My story: My work is very personal and how I am able to express experiences, interests, moments and all the emotions that come with it all. I love what I do, and it basically comes down to that—it may be exhausting and stressful at times, but I still love it.
Personal style: Questionably homeless looking
Style icon: Mary Kate Olsen
Favorite designers: Maison Martin Margiela, Band of Outsiders, the Row
Favorite three pieces in your closet right now:Destroyed boyfriend jeans (Free People), black linen long sleeve Henley (Zara), cream cable fisherman sweater (brandless)
True style is… You; how you want to be seen, reflects personality (not ability), something you don’t have worry about when you wake up and get dressed.
This collection: "Years of Refinery" is a story of a more recent past; the time it takes to become comfortable after life-changing events. The experiences it takes, the time; from one problem to the next and all the issues in between. Like I said, a more recent past of my own experiences.
One celebrity you’d like to see in your designs: Mary Kate Olsen
Are items shown in this collection for sale? If I am addressed about the pieces, price points are dependable upon material and time that was invested. Please always feel free to contact and I am happy to discuss.
Do you do custom work? Between Chertova fashion and Chertova jewelry, I try to make everything I can that comes with a request of a personal commission. The prices are simply dependent on what the request is. I am always open to talking about it—times, prices, any details that should be known going into the project.
